At long last the first introductory module of How to Make War, Basic Armor is ready for testing. All components can be downloaded from the website. We are looking for playtesters and module developers. In addition to the seven other introductory modules that will follow, there are several additional modules currently in development including: Golan Heights (1973), Suez Canal (1973), Soviet/US in Europe (1973, hypothetical), and Russian Front (1942).

Mitch, I found your blog and thought you might be able to help me out with
some organizational issues.

I’m designing a DIY wargame and need to represent the organization of
various armies from WWII to the present.

I’m doing a demo module for WWII eastern front and need help with my German
and Soviet division org charts.

See the German TOEs at:

And the Soviet TOEs at:

You can find general information about the game here:

The divisions are merely representative but I’d like them to be as accurate as possible. (If I’ve chosen atypical divisions then I should switch.)

The time period is not crucial for the demo module but I’d like to include the Panther so it should sometime 1943 or later.

Among my questions

If it makes sense, perhaps you might publish a link to the game and invite readers to help me refine the WWII orgs and data.

Thanks in advance.
